KSA:  education  and  networking  coordinator

This leadership position really helped me to grow. In addition to helping plan a mentorship banquet with more than 125 attendees (approximately 25 mentors and 100 interested mentees) I met with representatives from 7 different organizations, and acted as a liaison between them, communicating the information back to the KSA executive board members. There were moments when it was extremely challenging work, especially regarding our limited budget and deciding how to distribute it effectively for our events. Overall, my partner and I helped increase the annual mentorship banquet turn out, and hosted a workshop taught by a Harvard graduate and entrepreneur.
