chemistry 162: general chemistry iii
professor: andrea Carroll
This class involves a lot of Lewis Dot Structures and discussion of the sharing of electrons. A lot of conceptual ideas are presented, including the Localized Electron model, the Molecular Orbital model, and the concept of bonds (sigma and pi).
Notes on the professor and overall experience: Professor Carroll is very straightforward. She's very clear about what material/which concepts she expects you to be familiar with. Although her exams are difficult due to their size/time constraints, she is very fair. She is extremely approachable and helpful during office hours, so I would really encourage you to attend them!
