Assignment Four - Curriculum Planning (MyPlan)

When trying to construct my 4-year plan, I tried to keep in mind that I wanted to major in something outside of the premed reqs, and minor in Spanish. I struggled to fit classes that would allow me to major in Medical Anthropology and minor in Spanish in addition to the required premed courses. I finally squeezed everything together, only to realize I would have absolutely no time to take courses solely for interest, and that all of my summers leading up to graduation would be booked. After talking it over with my advisor and my sister (she's my best friend, mentor, and confidante as well as my sibling) I decided to drop Spanish as a minor for the time being. This gave me some room to take classes that interested me. Also, I realized that Honors Exploration Seminars would be extremely helpful in combining my desire to study abroad and to take Honors courses outside of the regular school-year schedule. I always knew I wanted to study abroad, but now I am convinced I should!
My classes are color coordinated based to help me remember to take all of the classes that are required for my various interests.

*A special thanks to Jion Kim for helping edit my 4-year plan! She not only made a document for me laying out the exact requirements I need to graduate with my indicated major/interests, but she also advised me on the future and suggested possible activities/opportunities! She is a wonderful Peer Mentor! :)
